Racing sport prototype introduced in 2003, became the base for the mono-cup of the same name as part of the National Racing Series Lada (НГСЛ.)
In the summer of 2005, the racing LADA Revolution II was slightly modernized, both in terms of design and technical part: the rear suspension was modified, the geometry and stiffness of the subframes were changed, the aerodynamic diffuser was redesigned, and the engine cooling system was improved.
The updated model received the RS2 prefix to the name.
Due to the crisis that broke out in 2008, the LADA Revolution project was closed.
